Licensing

• avast! is licensed "per user" with the exception of avast! 4 Server Edition, which is licensed "per Server". For SBS server and the SBS Suites there are a minimum number of licenses (5, with a maximum of 75) similar to Microsoft's minimum number of licenses (CAL's)agreement For Server plug-ns and Suites the minimum number of licences is 10. For Enterprise Suite the minimum is 20 licences.
• Length of Maintenance contract (AVS service) - We offer 1, 2 or 3 years. There is a substantial saving in choosing a longer contract period. For clarity each product / AVS period is listed separately.
